For the celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas, this also applies to them as they recently admitted that their marital relationship wasn’t always smooth-sailing, but they endure. As seen on the “Tonight With Arnold Clavio” show, the now 25-year-strong couple reminisced on their wonderful love story. The two said that they met during the set of the original “Mara Clara”. Since then, the physical attraction that they felt for each other blossomed into an intense feeling of deep affection. They also explained how they overcame the so-called seven year itch in their relationship. Christopher said that while he certainly felt the proverbial itch, he later realized that what he did was wrong and pursued Gladys again. Lea Salonga Finally Reveals The Reason Why Aga Mulach Did Not Become Her Partner In Real Life

The Broadway star’s tandem with Aga Muhlach made a lot of the 90s moviegoers gush.



Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga might’ve parted ways in showbiz but their fans still get kilig especially when they read Aga’s letter for Lea saying she is “the one that got away.”



During the latest episode of the morning show Magandang Buhay, the Broadway star admitted that she was also speechless with Aga’s  letter because she had no idea about the “very sweet, very well written, and very heartfelt” love letter.



“I was in shock. We asked him kasi to write a message. I was going to different people para dito sa librong ito. Of course, how do we not ask him to make a contribution? And then all of a sudden, we got the submission from Aga,” she shared.



“[My editor and I] were both in shock. Kaming pareho, we were looking at his letter. We were like, ‘Oh my God.’ The only reaction was ‘Wow!’ Yun lang. Frozen in my chair,” she added.



Lea then shared that they never became a real-life couple despite having projects together because the timing was not right. However, she said that they’re good friends and that’s way better.



“Bad timing talaga because when we were shooting ‘Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,’ ako iyong may boyfriend sa totoong buhay. Noong ‘Sana Maulit Muli,’ during the first part, umiiyak-iyak siya because he had just broken up with a girlfriend. And then naghiwalay muna kami because he had another movie to make, and I had a musical. So we started doing ‘Sana Maulit Muli’ again. Nagka-girlfriend ulit. Ako naman ang single. So talagang hindi kami meant in real life,” she said.



Lea and Aga worked together in the movies “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal” (1992) and “Sana Maulit Muli” (1995).
